This report provides a preliminary assessment of the state of knowledge of the implications of climate change for fisheries and aquaculture in Australia.

Sridhar, issued orders to check the illegal fish tanks which are flouting norms of Coastal Aqua Culture Authority Act 2005. The present study was taken up during 2007-08 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Stratified random sampling was adopted to select the respondents. A total of 480 respondents were selected from 16 villages across four mandals of the East Godavari district. Ongole, July 27: Aqua culture and salt industries have turned soil saline in many parts of Prakasam district making large chunks of land unfit for cultivation. Salt cultivation is on in 7,867 acres in four mandals of the district and in the last one decade, aquaculture is also on the rise in nine mandals.

Nature knows better how to keep the water sources clean and nourishing. Our traditions, also could maintain their water sources for the past 10,000 years. Water quality problems and water scarcity- both are due to pollution of air, caused by increase in the use of fossil fuels. This produces rain with nitrates and acidity. This pollutes the surface water bodies and also the groundwater.
