Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government, in association with Tata Chemicals and Wildlife Trust of India (WTI), has worked out a novel project to transplant corals in area off the coastline of Mithapur, situated on the north-western tip of Saurashtra.
Transplantable corals will be brought from unique Lakshadweep islands, which are believed to have been formed due to coral activity.
