The complaint is that one M/s. Sai Eternal Foundation is dumping construction waste and waste stone debris on the valley side causing damage to the environment and also creating health hazards to local people in the area. The said company is constructing a double lane in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh and in the process of said construction activities, construction waste and other waste is being dumped at the Dhalli Tunnel project down the valley side.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT), October 19, 2022 said that whether Taradi-Dhabra Shashikhal Motar Marg above the Naula of village Malla Dhadhariya requires environmental clearance (EC) in view of EIA Notification 2006 needs to be looked into by the authorities.

Judgment of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Zon Hotels Pvt. Ltd. Vs Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority & Others dated 14/10/2022. Zon Hotels appealed against the order, May 9, 2022 passed by the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) directing Zon Hotels to pay an amount of Rs. 2,04,19,560/- (Rupees Two Crore Four Lakhs Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred and Sixty Only) as damages caused to the environment with regard to the illegal construction carried out at survey no. 146/4-E of village Candolim, Bardez, Goa.
