Order of the Madras High Court in W.P. Nos. 8132 of 2018 dated 06/04/2018 regarding irregularities and illegalities committed in the utilization of funds allocated under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Perambalur District, Tamil Nadu. Madras High Court notes that on an average, about Rs.80,000/- is being sanctioned for each beneficiary and that the funds allocated for a particular village panchayat appear to be substantial. District Collector - Perambalur District has been directed to submit an affidavit to the Court regarding the issue.
