It is stated that near village Khampur lot of dust is generated in absence of sprinkling of water. It is further stated that 161 trees have been cut in January 2021.

Measures are being taken to control the air pollution due to the loading and unloading of coal by vehicles plying on the Hal road of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) Khadia project at Shakti Nagar, Sonbhadra. Industries burning copper scrap in RICCO industrial area The National Green Tribunal (NGT) directed a report to be filed on industries in the industrial area operated by Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), district Churu, Rajasthan for illegally burning copper scrap during night time. An application was filed by residents of village Bidasar that the improper disposal of copper scrap was releasing poisonous gases, causing serious health hazards and damaging environment.
