HYDERABAD: It is supposed to be the elixir of life. But consumption of contaminated water claimed five lives and led to the hospitalisation of over 200 persons in Bholakpur locality in the Andhra Pradesh capital on Tuesday.

COIMBATORE: Residents of some colonies along Nanjundapuram Road in the city have planned a fast and demonstration in the city on May 5 to oppose the sewage treatment plant that the Coimbatore Corporation is establishing on 6.2 acres it owns. The Corporation already has a sewage pumping station on this site.
