Affidavit by Kalburgi Cement Private Limited with the National Green Tribunal (NGT) regarding the application filed by Tandur Citizens Welfare Society, Rangareddy District. The application said that air pollution was being caused by the cement factories, construction activities and stone cutting and polishing activities.

Water being a State subject, initiatives on sustainable water management including conservation and water harvesting in the Country is primarily States’ responsibility. Further, a number of States have done notable work in the field of water conservation/harvesting.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Madhusudhan Reddy Vs State of Telangana dated 31/10/2019 regarding pollution caused by Kisan Agro Feeds Factory in Kothapalli, Village Yacharam (MO) Ranga Reddy, Telangana in the process of extracting oil from the dead bodies of animals. The oil is mixed with edible oils causing hazard to the public health.

The per capita income (PCI) of Telangana has touched the Rs 2 lakh mark in the fiscal 2018-19. Hussainsagar water was said to have been entering the Indira Park tank through a surplus weir.
