Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Giriraj Parikrama Sanrakshan Sansthan Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 11/12/2019 regarding regulating traffic congestion in and around Giriraj Parvat and Parikrama Marg, Govardhan, District Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

The Tribunal noted that the work with regard to ring road was not complete and a part of the work still remains. The same was with the case of service road of 10 meters wide around the Parikrama Marg, behind the existing houses and ashrams.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 04/12/2019 regarding environment protection of Taj Mahal. Among the various directions passed by the apex court are the following:

a. The Agra Municipal Corporation has been directed to submit the report (Environment Impact Assessment) of the waste to energy plant submitted by M/s Spaak Bresson Pvt. Ltd. to the NEERI.

Order of the Supreme Court in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 15/11/2019 regarding air pollution control in Delhi NCR.

A joint affidavit was submitted on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Central Pollution Control Board on the establishment of towers to remove pollution but a final decision is yet to be taken. The court directed that the concerned stake holders file their response on Project Vayu as to how much time would it take to note the results of the trial and the minimum period required for that.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of 'Severe problem being faced by the citizens in Delhi and adjoining areas due to acute air pollution'. This suo motu writ petition has been registered to deal with the issues pertaining to pollution in National Capital Region (NCR) and the whole of northern India, particularly during the winter months.
