On April 16, 2020 the African Union Commission (AUC) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) jointly convened a virtual meeting of Ministers of Agriculture in African countries to discuss the impact of coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) on food security and nutrition.
