Beach pollution worries locals

PARADIP: On the 6-km stretch of the beach are mounds of waste, leaving locals worried about their health.

The garbage at Kalinga Bali Yatra ground, which concluded last Friday, is an eyesore for onlookers.

The efforts of the municipal administration to clean it notwithstanding, locals are worried about the health hazards they may pose.

Air Pollution in the Month of October is Getting Worse - is Delhi Ready?
For the city of Delhi, an air quality index methodology was proposed and applied for six criteria pollutants - PM10, PM2.5, CO, NOx, SO2, and Ozone and analyzed for trends in the past three years of data. The AQI is reported on a scale of 0 to 500 and subdivided into six colored bins for easy understanding of the common person and the media.
