A strong heat wave is sweeping across Chhattisgarh and particularly Raipur which recorded a maximum temperature of 43.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

Hisar recorded the maximum temperature of 45 degrees

Intense heat waves swept across Haryana and Punjab, including Chandigarh, for the second day on Thursday even as Hisar in Haryana recorded the maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius.

The scorching heat continued in the state for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. The conditions further aggravated which affected normal life and vehicular traffic.
