Finally, the long wait for the H1N1 virus test results from National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune is all set to be a thing of the past.

The Department of Neuro-Virology at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) will soon establish a facility to test throat and nasal samples of suspected H1N1 flu patients.

Five new H1N1 influenza cases were reported on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases to 109. Of these five cases, two each were reported from Bangalore and Mumbai, while the fifth case was reported from Delhi.
