LUCKNOW: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday put a stay on cutting of trees and demolition inside the Model jail here till May 18.

A division bench comprising Justice Pradeep Kant and Justice SNH Zaidi passed this interim order on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a local lawyer Sangam Lal Pandey.
