This paper attempts a decomposition analysis of Poverty scenario in UP during 1993-94 and 2004-05. It was found that poverty has decreased but inequality has increased between these years. The main problems in the state are stark inter-region and intra-region differences.

This report discusses the losses to the economy due to poor logistics infrastructure, which will substantially increase under current trajectory of infrastructure development, and recommends a new, balanced modal approach for India's logistics infrastructure development.

The Centre of Environment Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai has been engaged by CIDCO to carry out the comprehensive environment impact assessment study in accordance with the guidelines of Ministry of environment & Forest and Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board (MPDCB).
