This book presents the spatio-temporal and gender appraisal Human Development Index (HDI) of all the 237 Panchayat Samitis of Rajasthan. Interpreting spatial distribution pattern of HD at Panchayat Samiti Level, it provides temporal appraisal of HDI in two points of time: 1991 and 2001. This study also investigates how climate change is likely to impact each port city's exposure to coastal flooding by the 2070s, alongside subsidence and population growth and urbanisation.
