Since the Rio+20, several African countries have adopted green-growth strategies and are pursuing green growth in selected sectors. As of June 2015, several countries had or were in the process of developing green economy strategies or action plans at the national level.

Recent calls to change the SDGs and to lower ambition confuse two issues. The first is whether goals, such as universal access to healthcare, education, safe water, and clean energy, are achievable by 2030, which includes issues of technical and operational feasibility as well as affordability.

It presents an update on the progress on the implementation of the Pollution Action Plan adopted at UNEA-4 in resolution 4/21, including some highlights in implementing the specific deliverables identified in the Plan. The Plan aims to build synergies across the work of UNEP and to provide the glue across the dimensions of pollution, i.e.

A report was filed by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) with reference to the allegation of discharge of untreated sewage and industrial effluents on the agriculture lands at village Nokha, district Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Report filed on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) in Original Application No. 173 of 2020.

The matter relates to 700 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored in a custom bonded warehouse of M/s Sattva Container Freight Station (CFS) at Ponneri Road, Manali, Tiruvottriyur taluk, Chennai district. The ammonium nitrate has been stored in the CFS since 2015.

Report filed on behalf of the Director, Industrial Safety and Health, Tamil Nadu in Original Application No. 173 of 2020. The report was filed after the NGT sought clarification on 700 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored in Customs bonded warehouse in Ponneri Road, Manali, Chennai. The ammonium nitrate was seized in October 2015 at Chennai port.
