An outbreak of diarrhoea epidemic that began in Jajarkot district some three months ago has not come under control yet.

Five persons died of the disease at Thalaraikar, Jugapathachaur and Kortang VDCs within past the two days, taking the death toll to 48.

Hyderabad: As many as 5,426 cases of acute diarrhoea, including 21 deaths, were reported in Hyderabad, Adilabad,
Karimnagar, Mahbubnagar, Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Kadapa, East Godavari, Warangal and Medak. Hyderabad stood on top with 1,197 cases.
