Ecosystems Must Move By 1/4 Mile A Yr To Survive

Paris: Land ecosystems will have to move hundreds of metres each year in order to cope with global warming, according to a letter published in the journal Nature.

The social status of a person in future should be considered by the number of trees, he planted not by his bank balance or size of his car, stated scientist S Sethuramamlingam. He was speaking at the workshop of Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Bhopal. The event oganised on trees also aims at encouraging tree watching as a hobby.
