Fisherfolk in the settlements along the coastline are so immersed in their day-to-day lives that they are normally ignorant of what happens in neighbouring settlements or issues relevant to them. A weekly community radio show, produced by the Kutch Mahila Vikas Sangathan, uses 30 minutes of available airtime to discuss these issues.
