Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vivek Avasthi Vs Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change & Others dated 02/03/2021. Grievance in the application was against felling of trees by Delhi International Airport Authority Limited and its agency, M/s GMR Group, for expansion of a new runway for the airport. It was stated that the felling of trees was without complying with the requirements of planting the requisite number of trees.
