CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced on Friday that his regime would launch a State-wide urban infrastructure development programme called Rajiv Gandhi Urban Development Mission, Haryana.

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has decided to raise the living standard of the urban poor by making them partners in the development process, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said on Sunday.

The Vice-Chairman of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Ashok Kumar, has identified the in-situ development of slums and the construction of houses for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower IncomeGroups (LIG) as areas of focus in 2010.
