The water resources of a Miocene limestone aquifer in northwest Sri Lanka were investigated. The limestone aquifer receives recharge although it is buried beneath a thick sequence of Quaternary deposits of low permeability which cover the whole basin. Hydrochemical and pumping-test data show that this recharge occurs as leakage through the semi-permeable cover.

This report analyses the little understood relationship between development and environment, the impact of environmental degradation on individual, social groups, tribals and nomads. In many ways, this voluntary report on the state of the environment in India is a unique document. It is the product of an enormous participatory effort. A range of voluntary agencies and individuals interested in environmental issues have contributed their best efforts towards making this report.

In this Short Film we did show that, "how the quantity of water decreases by time if we do not stop global warming". The cost of water will increase if quantity will decrease. One day no one will get the water! Not even in exchange of money!
