EPCA Report - Report on priority measures to reduce air pollution and protect public health in the matter of W.P. (C) No.13029 of 1985; M.C. Mehta v/s UOI & others. The report states that Delhi was able to arrest and lower air pollution with its first phase of action directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court. But Delhi could not sustain these gains and air pollution levels are rising again. Growing pollution especially from vehicles and delayed action have enhanced public health risk.

स्वामी दयानंद मार्ग (रोड संख्या-57) पर फुटपाथ पर अतिक्रमण की समस्या को लेकर जनशिकायत आयोग ने सुनवाई के दौरान लोक निर्माण विभाग और यातायात पुलिस को हर हाल में अतिक्रमण हटाने का निर्देश दिया है। इस दौरान आयोग ने दोनों विभागों के मौजूदा प्रयासों को नाकाफी करार दिया है। आयोग ने कहा कि किसी भी सूरत में फुटपाथ पर अवैध पार्किंग या अतिक्रमण नहीं होना चाहिए।

One of the ten recommendations suggested for safe operations of Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) on the Ahmednagar-Alandi Road by IIT Bombay's safety audit report is minimal bus-to-platform gap.

Referring to wide gaps found during normal operations in the BRT systems in other large cities in Asia and America, the report recommended that during the trial run of the BRTS on this route in the city, this safety aspect should be carefully looked into.
