The European vehicle market statistics pocketbook offers a statistical portrait of passenger car and light commercial vehicle fleets in the European Union, updated annually. The emphasis is on vehicle technologies and emissions of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants.

Criticising the traffic management in the national capital, a Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs has noted that the Delhi traffic police is mainly focusing on regulating traffic at red lights and intersections and paying little attention towards violation of rules on roads.

Transport-related emissions from tourism are expected to account for 5.3% of all anthropogenic emissions by 2030, up from 5% in 2016, according to a report published by the International Transport Forum (ITF) and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Limiting warming in line with the Paris Agreement goals requires deep cuts in transport emissions, even as demand for transport continues to grow. Yet under business as usual, emissions are projected to double.
