Centre questions Delhi SEZ policy

The Union urban development ministry has questioned the legality of SEZ as notified by the Delhi government in the absence of any provision for the same in the Master Plan Delhi 2021.

In a letter to the Delhi government, the ministry has asked the city authorities on what criteria SEZs will be set up in the city as there is no such area earmarked in the MPD 2021.
