The Parents Teachers Association members of Shrimati Tarabai Dalvi High School, Bhamai-Pale, on Monday blocked the road protesting over rising dust pollution and alleged failure on the part of authorities to control truck transportation in the area.
The road blockade agitation angered the truck owners, which ended in verbal clashes between the two groups.

Hundreds of people blocked the Bicholim Bridge on Thursday while protesting against mining traffic across the bridge.
Incidentally, they also assaulted a truck driver and damaged his vehicle when he was trying to cross over the bridge.
