Field trials were conducted on highly degraded sites on farmers' fields at Neemkheda field and Piparia hill in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh to observe the performance of multipurpose tree species (MPTS) at 2m x 3m and 3m x 3m spacings under different agroforestry practices.

The ethno-botanically important species in traditional agroforests of Nyishi community of Arunachal Pradesh was studied during the year 2004-2005.
