The first online CNG station started on Wednesday evening near Gijod village in Sector-53 here. The station has a daily capacity of 30,000 kg gas. Managing director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd Rajesh Vedvyas said the station can serve 300 buses and 3,500 cars daily.

The JSPCB today issued the directive to managements of sponge iron units and power companies operating in Jamshedpur, Ramgarh, Dhanbad and Hazaribagh.
