The Centre has formulated a National Litigation Policy to reduce the cases pending in various courts in India under the National Legal Mission to reduce average pendency time from 15 years to 3 years. The existing share of renewables in total electricity is around 3.9% in 2009-10. The Jindal Power Limited is directed to refer to this Ministry's letter of even no. dated 31st March, 2009 prescribing the Terms of Reference for 4X600MW coal based power project at Tamnar in district Raigarh in Chhattisgarh for undertaking detalied EIA study.
